ZView can be used for creating equivalent circuit models. It can also analyze and fit data using built-in or user-defined Equivalent Circuit Models. The application can create bode plots and 3D graphs using various kinds of data files. Batch file processing is also available.
It is simply a graphical representation of what a resistor does in a circuit.
